Terms & Conditions

Nature of Services

The services provided are life coaching services. Coaching is a professional relationship designed to support personal growth, accountability, performance development, behavioral awareness, and goal achievement.

Coaching is not therapy, not psychological treatment, not psychiatric care, not medical care, and not a substitute for licensed mental health services.

The Coach is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, or medical provider. The Coach does not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health disorders, medical conditions, or psychological illnesses.

Clients acknowledge and agree that coaching services are educational, motivational, and performance-based in nature.

If a Client requires clinical mental health treatment, psychiatric evaluation, or medical care, they are solely responsible for seeking licensed professionals in those fields.

No Clinical Relationship

By engaging in coaching services, the Client understands and agrees that:

There is no therapist-patient relationship created.

There is no doctor-patient relationship created.

There is no fiduciary mental health treatment relationship created.

Coaching conversations may involve behavioral feedback, accountability, and direct communication. Such communication does not constitute therapy or clinical intervention.

Clients voluntarily participate and assume responsibility for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes.

Recording and Privacy

The Coach does not record sessions without consent.

If sessions occur within a Client’s home or private property, and the Client records through personal security devices or recording systems, the Coach is not responsible for such recordings.

Clients assume responsibility for the management and use of their own recording systems.

Scope of Communication

Coaching services include only the communication time and scope agreed upon in writing.

Repeated contact outside agreed communication windows, excessive messaging, harassment, or disregard for professional boundaries constitutes misuse of services.

The Coach reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate services if boundaries are repeatedly violated.

Client Conduct and Respect Policy

Professional coaching requires mutual respect.

The Coach reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate services if a Client:

Engages in abusive, hostile, threatening, or disrespectful conduct

Attempts to manipulate, intimidate, or coerce the Coach

Repeatedly violates agreed communication boundaries

Misrepresents the Coach’s credentials or scope of practice

Uses coaching services outside the agreed framework

Termination may occur at the sole discretion of the Coach.

Right of Termination

Coaching is a voluntary engagement.

The Coach reserves the right to terminate services at any time, with or without cause, based on professional judgment, boundary violations, incompatibility, or concerns regarding the working relationship.

Upon termination:

All outstanding balances remain due

Future sessions will not be scheduled

Access to services will cease

Clients also retain the right to terminate services subject to any agreed notice provisions.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Coaching does not guarantee specific results.

All outcomes depend on Client effort, participation, and external factors beyond the Coach’s control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Coach shall not be liable for:

Emotional responses to coaching conversations

Decisions made by Clients

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Interpretations of behavioral feedback

Clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in coaching services.

Agreement

By engaging services, making payment, or participating in sessions, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Discounted Services, Reserved Time, and Cancellation Policy

Clients who receive coaching services at a discounted, reduced, scholarship, promotional, or otherwise preferential rate acknowledge and agree that such pricing constitutes consideration in exchange for their commitment to active participation, compliance with coaching requirements, and adherence to professional standards of conduct.

As part of this arrangement, clients agree to complete and actively engage in assigned exercises, protocols, and recommendations deemed reasonably necessary by the Coach for the delivery of services. Clients further agree to maintain respectful, professional, and appropriate communication at all times. Conduct including, but not limited to, repeated noncompliance, refusal to participate in agreed-upon protocols, abusive or disrespectful behavior, harassment, threats, or any other conduct reasonably deemed detrimental to the coaching relationship may constitute grounds for immediate termination of services at the sole discretion of the Coach.

Because discounted clients receive rates substantially below the Coach’s standard fees and reserve dedicated time blocks that cannot reasonably be reallocated on short notice, all payments made for scheduled sessions are considered payment for reserved professional availability and are non-refundable once the applicable billing period has begun. In the event that either the Client or the Coach elects to terminate the coaching relationship, the Client shall not be entitled to reimbursement, refund, credit, or proration for any sessions or time reserved during the remainder of the prepaid billing period.

The Client expressly acknowledges that reserved appointment times and availability represent a loss of opportunity to accept other clients and that such opportunity costs constitute a material component of the services provided.

In addition, the Coach may, at his sole discretion, provide support, communication, guidance, or consultation outside of scheduled sessions. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, such support constitutes billable professional time. Any courtesy hours, communications, or services previously provided without charge may be documented and invoiced at the Coach’s then-current standard hourly rate upon termination of the coaching relationship or in connection with any dispute, chargeback, reimbursement request, or attempt to recover fees previously paid.

The Coach maintains contemporaneous records, including but not limited to timestamps, communication logs, call records, messages, emails, documents, and other records evidencing services rendered. Such records may be used to substantiate the value of services provided and to defend against any claim, dispute, or chargeback initiated by the Client.

By purchasing discounted coaching services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these terms and expressly waive any claim to reimbursement for reserved time, discounted services rendered, or professional availability provided during the applicable billing period.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit the Coach’s right to pursue any other remedies available under applicable law.
